About My Challenge
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Association of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.Dedicated to: NZ Army
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.
Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.

We need to do more Aotearoa New Zealand. Either you have personally had or have ongoing mental health issues or know someone who has. Mental Health is a big part of our First Aid, whether it is help from your GP, Specialists, St Johns, Life Mattersor even a friend. There is lots of help out there. Do not be ashamed to ask for help. I have been there myself. Even if you are struggling to find someone or cannot get out of the house, I would be very happy to come and have a chat. You must reach out. When there doesn’t seem to be a way out, there is a lot of help to turn around your isolation and well being.Be kind to your self and change your thought process and say I am going to be ok because I am going to reach out for help.
