The Push-Up Challenge combines daily physical activity, mental health education and connection to boost workplace wellbeing in February. Not a push-up pro? No problem. Tell your team that alternative exercises are welcome.
Team or Community?
Choose based on how many workmates are getting involved.
Up to 10 people
Start a Team
One group taking on the Challenge together. When you create a Team, you can invite people to join you and track your collective stats and individual rankings.
Multiple Teams
Start a Community
Got more than one Team keen to get involved? Bring them all together. You can invite people to join or create their own Team within your Community. You can also track your collective stats, as well as see Team and individual rankings.
How to get your workplace moving
Recruit your workmates
Three people or three hundred, get the word out. A mention in the team meeting (backed by a very persuasive packet of biscuits) can do wonders for your Team numbers.
Start a Team chat
Post the day's target and ask when everyone's fitting their reps in. Share a few photos as you go, and watch the chat fill up with encouragement and banter.
Get a little competitive
Check your Team's leaderboard in the app when you want to see how everyone's tracking. Use it for motivation, mild office rivalry or proof that Dave really did do all those reps.
Switch it up
On the days your biceps simply can't take it anymore, swap in squats or lunges. Make the trip to the office kitchen a lunge-only route.
Boost your team's impact with donation matching
Many organisations, big and small, offer workplace dollar matching programs where they match employee donations to charities and fundraising events: either dollar for dollar, up to a certain amount or by 'topping up' to reach a certain target. Ask your workplace if they'll consider supporting your fundraising efforts in The Push-up Challenge.
