About My Challenge
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
I personally have struggled with mental health over the years as do many other Kiwi's. A lot of people struggle with their problems silently, most of the time not because they want to, but because there just isn't enough resources and help.
I've taken on this challenge, not just for myself to be in better shape but for those that need the help to push (pun intended) themselves to talk and seek out the advice and guidance they need to get through their tough times.
Please support me as I complete this challenge for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritized.
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.
Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
