About Our Challenge
Land Search and Rescue volunteers assist people who are lost, missing, or injured across Aotearoa — we are truely everywhere, for everyone. Behind that mahi are volunteers, friends, whānau, and support networks who also carry the weight of what we do.
In February 2026, our team is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge, committing to complete 2,000 push-ups between 5–27 February. Together, we’re pushing ourselves to support better mental health outcomes across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Funds raised support the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, enabling their work to build a future where mental health is treasured, protected, and prioritised.
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
