About Our Challenge

We’re taking part in The Push-Up Challenge, running from 5 to 27 February 2026. It’s not about perfection or hitting some elite target, but about moving, connecting and supporting mental health together.

The official challenge aims for 2,000 push-ups across 23 days, but if push-ups aren’t your thing you can do sit-ups, squats, lunges or similar movements, whatever works for you.

The point is to give ourselves a chance to move in a way that feels good, start conversations about wellbeing, and support a great cause (the Challenge links with the Mental Health Foundation of NZ).

Whether you do one rep, ten, 200 or just cheer others on, that counts. Go at your own pace, listen to your body and keep it simple.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
