About Our Challenge
In February, our Team is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are challenging ourselves to complete 2,000 push-ups between 5-27 February, 2026 to push for better mental health outcomes in Aotearoa New Zealand.You can help us push for better mental health in Aotearoa by joining us or donating to our Team.
Funds raised enable The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand to build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Good luck, and show us your biceps when finished. I did a push up challenge a few years ago targeting 100 push up is one go. The secret is to find out how many you can do now. Then do 2/3 of this total twice with 90 sec rest in between then on the third go push to you can't do any more. Have a rest day then add two more to you first total and do it all over again - - over a few weeks I got up to 70 in one go,
