About My Challenge

From 5–27 February, I’m taking on the challenge of completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health, and I’m grateful to be doing this with the support of our Taikan Kai Karate Club. As a club, we’ll all be participating together, completing push-ups the Sensei Dan way. They may be more challenging, but they’re also safer and offer greater benefit. 😊 Sensei Dan will be checking in at karate to make sure we’re all performing them correctly.

All funds raised will support the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, helping to create a future where mental health is treasured, protected, and prioritised.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
