About My Challenge

Myself and Bex are completing a combination of push ups and sit ups - to total 2000 - in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. 2,000 push ups/sit ups across 23 days represents the 2,000 lives lost to suicide world wide, every day.

The mental health association are there to support everyone in different ways but the funds are not always available. Every dollar counts, if you aren't able to donate please share our message. New Zealand has large statistics when it comes to the negative impacts of mental health disorders going undiagnosed/unsupported. We want to help New Zealand do better.

Please support us as we push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Association of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
