About My Challenge
From 5–27 February, I’m pushing myself through 2,000 push-ups in 23 days.
I’m doing this because mental health in New Zealand is stretched thin — and because this fight is personal. I know what it feels like to carry things alone, to look “fine” while struggling inside, and to keep going when support feels out of reach.
Some days, getting out of bed is harder than any workout. This challenge is my way of turning that pain into something that might help someone else feel less alone.
Every donation supports the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, helping build a future where mental health is treated with the care, urgency, and respect it deserves.
If you’re able to support or share this — thank you. And if you’re struggling too, you’re not weak, and you’re not alone.
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.
Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
