About My Challenge

I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.

I am somebody who has always tried to tell everyone I’m happy, even when I didn’t fully Believe it. I found it easier in my mid teens however it has really hit me in the last few months with something that happened in my life. It knocked my confidence and it completely changed how I acted with myself and around others. I encourage anybody to speak up, I am always here for a chat with anybody. The last few months has really opened my eyes up to how real mental health is. I want to help in any way I can.

I’m now speaking to you as a friend, talk to me if you want… please.

Dedicated to: Myself, don’t wanna take credit. I’m doing this for others I don’t know.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
