GISINT LH11 PUSH UP CHALLENGE, 2026

My class and I are completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.   Last year we learnt all about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how to take care of our hauora by focusing on the four pillars of health- taha hinengaro/mental & emotional health, taha tinana/physical health, taha whanau/social health and taha wairua/spiritual health.  This kaupapa is an extension of this learning and a way to reinforce all that we learnt about creating healthy lifelong habits.

Please support us as we push for better mental health from 5-27 February.

All proceeds help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
