2000 push ups

I’m taking part in The Push-Up Challenge because it’s a great way to level up my fitness this February. Over 23 days I aim to complete 2,000 reps

There’s a bit of a bigger purpose behind it: as you train and push yourself physically, the challenge also encourages conversations about mental wellbeing and supports awareness of mental health across Aotearoa.

If you’re doing it for fitness, it’s legit – it gives you a goal to work towards every day, helps develop workout habits, and is adaptable to your own pace and ability.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
