About My Challenge

The Kick-Off Post
Me and the boys are taking on 2,000 push-ups each in 23 days.
Why? Because 1 in 4 people deal with mental health struggles. In a group of four mates, statistics say one of us is fighting a battle you can’t see.
We’re hitting the floor to take away the stigma & to bring more awareness! We’re holding each other accountable so that no one has to carry the weight alone. The burn in our arms is temporary for us—the fight for mental health is a battle every day for 1 in 4 people.

So 23 Days. 2,000 Reps. Push it. Push it real good.  #MentalHealthAwareness #PushUpChallenge #1in4 #pushitrealgood

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
