About My Challenge

Mental health is something we all carry with us, and some days it feels heavier than others.
The challenges aren’t always visible—stress, anxiety, burnout, and life’s pressures can weigh us down even when everything looks fine on the outside. That’s why open conversations and active support matter so much.

Next February from 5-27, I’m taking on a 2,000 pushups in 23 days challenge to help raise awareness for mental health. It’s a reminder that just like physical strength, mental strength is built over time, and sometimes we need support, encouragement, and a community behind us to keep going.

Reaching out, slowing down, and asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s courage. Every mind deserves understanding, support, and space to heal. By taking on this challenge, I’m hoping to spark more conversations, remind others they’re not alone, and encourage anyone struggling to reach out.

Let’s keep breaking the stigma—one pushup, one conversation, one person at a time.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
