About Our Challenge

In February, our team is taking on The Push-Up Challenge, completing 2,000 push-ups (or variations — incline push-ups absolutely count!) between 5–27 February 2026. We’re doing this to push ourselves physically and to shine a light on mental health in New Zealand.

We don’t have a fundraising goal — this challenge isn’t about numbers or pressure. It’s about showing up. Mental health has affected every one in some way. We, and nearly every one we know, has been on (or are still on) medication for our mental health. We’ve all had our moments, and we know how important this stuff is.

We’re pushing because movement helps. Because doing something hard together helps. And because sometimes the best therapy starts with moving your body, laughing a bit, and yelling “push it real good” at your mates.

If this sounds like your vibe, you’re more than welcome to join our team, move along with us, or donate if you’d like. Every push counts — even the wobbly ones.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
