About My Challenge

From 5–27 February, I’m taking on the Push-Up Challenge: 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to support mental health awareness and fundraising.

This is happening shortly after a minor back wobble, which ( much like my cats ) has forced me to slow down, listen to my body, and accept that lying on the floor is sometimes part of the process. Mental health isn’t about being unbreakable; it’s about adapting, resting when needed, and showing up again the next day.

All funds raised go to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, supporting their work to ensure mental health is valued, protected, and prioritised.

Push-ups may be modified.
Cats may supervise. 🐾💪

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
