The 2000 Push Up Challenge resonates with me as I know first hand the struggles that life throws at each and every one of us.
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Association of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.
Everyone has struggles at some stage. Their struggles can be at different levels of intensity and occur at different times of their life. Some people can navigate through their struggles and push past it. Some hide their struggles extremely well. Some walk around with their struggles on their shoulders. Despite how the person unpacks their struggles, it would be a perfect world if we all saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Well some people don't and it's that dark lonely tunnel that they don't want others to see. Hiding behind the stigma of mental health just isn't healthy and that's why I want to raise money for better mental health support.
This challenge will definitely push me out of my comfort zone just like those who want help but can't push past their comfort zone to reach out for support.
