About My Challenge

I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help The Mental Health Association of New Zealand to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health in Aotearoa New Zealand. This cause holds a deep part of my heart as my family has been deeply effected from mental health and suicide and not to mention cancer when I first clicked the link I was more in it for the physical challenge but then seen that I could have a really positive cause that will not just help me mentally but also to spread awareness about mental health/suicide this will all be told from my chest yes I admit I struggle with mental health and suicidal thoughts sometimes on a daily basis there was a time or still is when Im ashamed to say that I needed help I felt weak because that’s how everyone would think of me If Iwas to do give up I was scared to reach out because I be soo deep inside my thoughts reaching for help just seemed pointless I thought of myself as a lost cause my whole life I beat myself up over insecurities  and created a deep core belief of who I am today I was bullied until I became the bully got told I was ugly until I truly believed Iwas told iwill never be nothing so everytime I try be someone I lose motivation and give up all hopes Been lied to back stabbed and heart broken so you feel like you can never truly be loved now these are demons that we battle in our everyday lives but in order to get help we have to ask for help and I also want to say don’t be that person that’s to proud to speak up  or ask for help I speak from experience I’m that person and I promise u it’s a battle within itself fighting ur own thoughts contemplating if u need help or saying idont need help when deep down inside you truly know your screaming for help iknow that feeling I live with it everyday my loved ones have suffered ten folds because of my selfishness and my mental breakdowns because i do not know how to deal with my trauma mentally so this is me physically dealing with my trauma strengthening my body by doing this challenge and hopefully a big step forward in getting help to  be mentally stable so here I am asking for help asking for YOUR help spread this 2k push up challenge donate whatever or don’t donate at all just give me 10 push ups and ur support and I’ll take over from here iwill like to thank everyone who has taken time to listen to my truth with my daily war with mental health and to that person who reads this and thinks dam this is me or if u feel like u relate just know you are not alone KIA KAHA we got this 💯

Supporting Mental Health Foundation
