About Our Challenge, Loosing Daughter to Suicide
In February, our Team is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are challenging ourselves to complete 2,000 push-ups between 5-27 February, 2026 to push for better mental health outcomes in Aotearoa New Zealand.
You can help us push for better mental health in Aotearoa by joining us or donating to our Team.
Funds raised enable The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand to build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.
As a family we have been affected by mental health sadly, loosing Jess at just 14 years old to suicide. Jess was my stepdaughter, a big sister to my kids, Jason's princess, a cousin, a niece, a granddaughter and a friend to many. Mental health is a struggle for those living with it, and for the family and friends around them, it has a ribble effect that stretches far, the weight they carried passed on to love ones when they leave this world.
