About My Challenge
Kia ora! I’m Cameron, and this year I’ve taken on the Push-Up for Mental Health Challenge.
From 5 February to 27 February, I’ll be completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness for mental health and support people in our communities who are doing it tough.
I’m someone who’s always up for a challenge — I train in GKR karate, I love pushing myself, and I’m always looking for ways to make a positive impact. This challenge is a way for me to combine that mindset with something that actually helps raise awareness and start conversations about mental health.
I’ll be smashing out my daily push-ups during school, in the mornings, at karate training, and anywhere else I can fit them in. Any support, encouragement, or donations mean a lot and help make a real difference for mental health in Aotearoa.
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.
Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
