About My Challenge

Mental health is something I care deeply about, for myself, for my whānau, and for the people around me. It’s not always visible, and it’s not always easy to talk about, but it matters. He mea nui te oranga hinengaro.

Through my mahi, my sport, and my own lived experience; including working in mental health and supporting and losing people to mental health struggles — I’ve seen how closely our mental and physical wellbeing are connected. Mā te korikori me te manawanui ka tipu te kaha, engari me manaaki hoki tātou i a tātou anō me te hunga e arohaina ana.
This challenge is my way of showing up, starting conversations, and supporting the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. Any support — whether that’s donating, sharing, or the best of all, checking in on someone — means more than you know. Ngā mihi nui mō tō tautoko 🤍

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
