About My Challenge

I’m taking on 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. From 5–27 February, I’ll be pushing for better mental health for all of us.

Throughout my life, being active has been a positive outlet for me. No matter the season or  what’s going on, moving my body in any form helps me reset, stay balanced, and look after my mental wellbeing. working towards a goal gives me focus, purpose, and a sense of progress, Seeing the number 2000 next to the words push ups definitely brings up those daunting feelings, which is exactly why I’m doing it!!

Mental health is something every person deserves to have protected and prioritised.

All proceeds go to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand to help build a future where mental health is treasured, supported, and accessible to everyone.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
