Pushups for the Fellas

From Feb 5–27, I’m putting myself through 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

We’ve always been big on talking about men’s mental health on the show, the good days, the bad days, and everything in between, so this felt like the right way to back that up with something physical (and slightly stupid).

Mental health doesn’t get talked about enough, especially for the homies, and if doing a heap of push-ups gets a few more conversations started, it’s worth the sore arms and sick pump.

All money raised goes to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, helping create a future where mental health is taken seriously, supported properly, and not brushed off.

If you can't donate, just check in on a mate - that's all that counts 💙

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
