About My Challenge

I'm doing the push-up challenge!

I've struggled with mental health most of my life and know many others who do... or did, too.

It sucks, it can be debilitating, but it's always worth trying to push through, so I'm doing push-ups to show that even when shit's hard, it's worth it in the end.

The challenge allows us to exchange push-ups for other exercises, which I will be opting to do for most of this month as I'm still nursing a broken wrist!

My goal is to complete 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February.

All proceeds go to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand to improve services to those who need it as soon as they need it.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
