About My Challenge

I’m taking on the Push for Better Challenge and grinding out 2,000 push-ups to push my limits and support mental health awareness. As a Personal Trainer at North Canterbury Sports Fitness Centres, I believe movement is more than physical — it’s a powerful tool for mental strength, resilience, and showing up on hard days. This challenge is about discipline, grit, and backing mental health with action, not just words. We push for better bodies, stronger minds, and a better community. Let’s go 💪

I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
