About My Challenge

About 5 months ago I found out I had cancer and had to undergo 3 months of intense chemotherapy. As a usually fit and healthy person, this was a hard pill to swallow. Whilst I knew I could cope physically, I found it mentally challeging not being able to do all the things I was use to doing and found it even harder watching other people carry on doing things when I couldn't. I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to reassure myself that I am mentally strong and can get through anything I put my mind to and to refocus my mind on getting active, fit and healthy again.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
