About My Challenge

It's time mental health was treated the same as physical health!

I have first hand seen the poor level of support, care and treatment for mental injury or illness here in NZ compared to physical injury or illness.

Working in HR and workplace wellbeing also highlights how we are in our infancy in addressing the detrimental impact work poses on our psychological health.

We are able to grasp H&S and ensure people aren't physically injured or killed at work but we have a long way to do to expand H&S from physical to psychological.

I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February.

All proceeds help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
