About My Challenge

This February I'm flexing my support for better mental health - for me, for my mates, and for everyone in Aotearoa NZ - by taking on 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to honour the ~2,000 people who die by suicide each day, globally.

Suicide is preventable.

The key is connection, and having the kōrero that matters.

Shout out to my Push-Up Challenge team members in the Liberty Support Crew - who regularly show up for each other, with good banter, great music and mighty fine refreshments.

And to everyone who supports us with a donation.

Cheers, mates.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
