About My Challenge
I have always found it incredibly important to incorporate small, positive and frequent actions into my life in order to help keep the Black Dog at bay. If there is a small chance that my efforts can help someone else get through a tough time, it is a win-win-win situation. I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
Taking on this challenge, I am also motivated to get fitter, stronger and give myself a break from the "knee rehab" exercises which have been a constant for about a year now.
Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand build a future where mental health is treasured, protected and prioritised.
Supporting Mental Health Foundation
Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.
Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
