Here’s the game plan

My wife and my family are my why.

From 5–27 February, I’m taking on a personal fitness challenge to support mental health awareness and fundraising for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.

I’ll be completing a mix of workouts across the 23 days, including push-ups, squats, sit-ups and more, focusing on consistency rather than intensity - but I aim to get 2000 reps in, no matter what!

Working in social media and content creation, I see first-hand how damaging constant comparison, pressure and online noise can be to mental health. This challenge is a reminder for me to step back, move my body, and prioritise what actually matters.

I’m aiming to raise $500, helping people better understand what they, or someone they care about, may be going through and to find hope and a way forward.

If you’re able to donate, share, or simply check in on someone, it all makes a difference. Thanks for being here.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
