"2,000 push-ups, 1 introvert, 0 regrets "so far"

Hi Everyone
I'm taking on The Push Up Challenge — 2,000 push-ups between 5-27 February to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
I'll be honest, I'm not the most social person. I like my own company. But I know that's not the case for everyone, and sometimes the people who are struggling the most are the ones who find it hardest to reach out.
We never really know what's going on in someone's life. Stigma, money worries, not feeling "bad enough" to ask for help — there are so many reasons people don't get the support they need.
Listening and caring go a long way. So does funding the work that makes mental health support more accessible.

Supporting Mental Health Foundation

Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:

  • Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
  • Providing tools that support people through tough times
  • Advocating for a better mental health system and society

With your tautoko/support, we can build a fairer, more connected Aotearoa where everyone’s mental health is valued and protected.

Whāia te hauora hinengaro kia puāwai ai te hauora tangata - there is no health without mental health.
