Recognising your mental health state and aiming for good mental fitness can feel like you're fighting against the tide at times. I have seen this through people around me and more so now working in Emergency Services where I am for advocacy towards strong mental fitness. Funds raised will invested by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand [The MHF] in three core areas of mahi:
- Promoting everyday actions that lift mental wellbeing
- Providing tools that support people through tough times
- Advocating for a better mental health system and society
